A beautifully preserved 1929 ROYAL Portable Typewriter in brown wood-grain finish. The red and black ink ribbon is used but has lots of life left. You can type with this unit on arrival. The interior and keys are immaculately clean. This model was meant for journalists and writers to take with them on trains and buses while travelling. At 89 years of age it is remarkably preserved. Serial number of P141384 puts this typewriter being built in 1929.
I have inspected and tested this typewriter in my shop. Unit was typed on and working well. But fear not! I have a great source for remarkable remanufactured vintage ribbons that I will be happy to share with you after purchase. Look at all photos and ask any questions you may have before purchasing. Thanks! We have sold many typewriters to lots of happy customers, please check our feedback. We only sell good working units that we have enjoyed ourselves.
Another fine vintage item from Steamcrunk.
