Vintage post-war 1940s Scotch Bottle. Pale green glass. Engraved Cut glass with the words SCOTCH across the upper third of the bottle with 3 engraved flowers underneath, flowers have a strong asian motif to the design.
This bottle was acquired at the estate of a deceased gentleman who served in WW2 during the American Occupation of Japan (1946-1952). The Bottle was engraved/etched in Japan while he was stationed there. The ground glass stopper has been lost to the sands of time. It has been in my possession for about 18 years and it's time to find it a new home.
Condition: used but not abused, there is a very tiny finger nail chip on top (3/16"), and a little calcium/lime staining on section of the interior which should clean up with a good cleaner like CLR and a bottle brush (neither of which I have on hand in the shop, or I'd have done it myself), price reflects condition stated.
3.0" in diameter at base
1.25" at bottle lip
Another fine vintage item from Steamcrunk.
